Alex
I'm contemplating buying a replacement rear spoiler for the TT. Does anybody have the rear spoiler removal tool by any chance? I thought I'd ask to borrow it here first before having to buy one. JT997TT
Just saw this now Alex so apologies for the long delay. But I also have the removal tool somewhere here and you'd be more than welcome to borrow it. I'm not far away from you down 101st street to Hwy 8 if you want it. dragon
Just wanted to let people know that it is more than possible to safely remove the top spoiler without the special tool. You can easily make your own tool if you don't want to sacrifice an allen key. Brodie & I have removed & mounted the rear spoiler a couple times now on my car. I'll let Brodie post a pic of the "special NE-style" tool he made. Quote Link to comment

Alex
New rear wing installed this weekend! The wing is an Agency Power Type II carbon fiber wing which I ordered from Vivid Racing in AZ. The wing has some minor "blemishes" which are mostly confined to the underside so they gave it to me at half price! I was really impressed with that deal! I like the look! I was originally thinking of going with a GT2 type wing but this one seems to suit the 997.1TT better. Thanks Marc@Alpine for the use of the removal tool! Oh, btw...if you're contemplating removing your TT wing, because the post bolt is actually upside down you must crank it clockwise for removal and counter for installation (NOT lefty loosy, righty tighty as per their website)...ask me how I now know!
