Porsche Classic Nav upgrade

Not that anybody NEEDS to put Nav in their classic Porsche, I thought it should be done. Porsche lists all classic models except the 356 and 9x6 for fitment. Since I have a 986 I thought I should prove them wrong. I enlisted the great folks at Mobile Solutions to do the install, but it was surprisingly simple. Except for an antenna adapter, it was straight plug and play. I suspect if the 9x6 had Bose or MOST bus, it wouldn't work, but my car had the old Becker CDR220.

Now only my Suzuki XL_7 doesn't have iPod/Bluetooth handsfree connectivity. Yup, even the Smart does!

Here's how it looks

Not perfect, but pretty good!

Thanks to Derek at PCC for getting one for me, and Chris at MS for gittin' er done!

Hi Perci, at least you know where you are going.

Looks very neat, I may look into this as I can't seem to know where I am going all the time.

After you saw it Brodie, I expected you to run out and buy one, but it's still sitting in the glass case at PCC.
