Keith Adams
When I swapped engines in my car, I swapped in an early 915 transmission as well, so I have a 901 transmission that I removed from the car. It's not the original 912 transmission, but a much more rare 911 901/13, 1968/9 only model, magnesium case (this is the only mag case 901), which was 911E and S models. 5 speed, original gears would be AFMSZ 901/13, magnesium case ser #7197017 911 1968-69 5-speed synchronized transaxle Manufactured by Porsche (ZF) Rod shift Single-plate clutch Gear ratios: 1st gear: 3.091 (A) 2nd gear: 1.889 (F) 3rd gear: 1.318 (M) 4th gear: 1.040 (S) 5th gear: 0.793 (Z) Ring and pinion: 4.43 (7:31) It's not a core, it's a good working transmission that had no problems when I pulled it from the car. It's dry and doesn't leak. Note it still has early axle flanges (4 bolts, 2 pins). Before I go flogging it on the 'Bird and Early 911S board, thought I'd see if someone local was interested at a better price for the buyer. $1600 Edited November 20, 2016 by Keith Adams Quote Link to comment
