bmwphatpat
Besides the single marker light in front, and rear bumperettes, how else are these parts different that US/CAN parts? Quote Link to comment
ErikA
As far as I understand, that is the only difference. A US rear bumper will have an extra set of holes for mounting the larger bumperettes, so people who switch to the Euro/ROW bumperettes on a US bumper tend to plug the holes, weld them up, or just leave them as-is. bmwphatpat
Good to know, thanks How is the condition of the one bumperette? Quote Link to comment
ErikA
I can double-check tonight, but I think generally good. I would say the bumpers themselves are in decent shape, though need to be repainted. Not surprising, given that they are 40+ pounds of cast aluminum Depending on interest, I may end up keeping the rear valence, as mine was hacked by the PO to accommodate a dual exit muffler. ErikA
The one bumperette is in decent condition - a bit dirty, and there is some white overspray on it from when the bumper was painted white: I'm guessing a good cleaning and application of "Back to Black" would bring it around. Happy to sell it to you separately if you are interested. Quote Erik 2001 911 Turbo X50 1980 911SC - Black, 3.2 litre short stroke SOLD! 2002 BMW M3 - Carbon Black over Cinnamon Link to comment
