malcolm
The Cayenne needed a set of fresh spark plugs and as it has travelled over 216k kms I decided that the coil on plugs (known maintenance item) may also need replacing; not that I thought it was behaving badly but a scan (thx Yoon) had indicated #2 cyl. had an intermittent miss. Replacement of both complete, the results are quite noticeable; very smooth from off the line to warp speed and a nice increase in MPG. If your P car has started to hesitate/stumble it might be time to consider the coils Edited August 2, 2017 by malcolm Quote '21 Macan GTS PDK Miami Blue/Black, 7k kms '93 928 GTS 5 speed Polar Silver/Linen, 192k kms '88 928 S4 A/T Black/Ivory, 190k kms '09 Cayenne GTS Tiptronic Nordic Gold/Black, +336k kms '88 928 S4 A/T Red/Champagne, 110k miles (US car) Link to comment
