Danielle
From Erik: "My 996 Turbo over the past year has had a number of performance upgrades installed. It now has larger turbo's, larger injectors, water/methanol injection, KW V3 Coil Over suspension and a Techquipment 4 point cage. The car is now over at Southcenter getting a bunch of work done. During the slow months Southcenter is offering a special deal for club members who wish to have work done on their cars and I decided to be one of the guys taking them up on it. The engine and transmission are now out of the car. Here is what I am doing: Clutch Replacement Installation of Wavetrac Limited Slip Differential Installation of shift detent to prevent 2nd gear pop out issues Fixing an oil leak on cam housing GT2 Clutch Slave Conversion Upgrade of Motor Mounts and Transmission Mounts Upgrade of coolant piping as described in the recent Excellence magazine. Southcenter would like to invite the WRR to a tech night to describe all the parts of the engine and transmission while they are dissassembled. Since the cam housing will be off they will also give an indepth discussion of how the varioram timing works. My chassis will be on the hoist with a couple of other newer cars to give a comparison of the suspension compenents. Trust me, you don't want to miss this opportunity. The event will take place on Tuesday February 1st at the Southcentre service shop located at 4702 1st Street SE. They will start at 7:00 PM and run until approximately 9:00 PM. Please RSVP me at edumas@mullenoilfield.com so that I can let them know how many of us to expect. " Edited January 21, 2011 by Danielle Quote Link to comment
