Rob996
Well the trip has begun. My Dad and I left Calgary at 7 am this morning and headed south. We had a quick stop 2 hours south for a "code yellow" and then off again. As the temperature begane to rise closer to the 30C mark the further south we went I began wondering how far I would have made it if my A/C had not been fixed. I must say that the road south of the boarder from Cardston is the most fun I have had in a long time. Blind hairpin curves with constant elivation changes pulling from 40 MPH and up. I dont have any pictures to post of that as I am not talented enought to take pictures and drive a road like that We had a lunch stop in Agusta MT at Chubbys Dinner. Great sandwiched and some small town Montana decore. Then it was off again. here are some random pics of the drive towards Dillon MT. The roads have been great. It nice to run 80 MPH all the way. We are now at the Comfort INN Hotel in Dillon Mt. 6 hours to go tomorrow morning to Salt Lake.
