KevinJ
Saturdays drive to Cardston and back will not be a picnic as on the club schedule. We will be stopping for lunch either at the Remington Carriage Centre or in Twin Butte depending on how much time we spend at the Museum. Looking forward to Saturday and seeing each of you. KevinJ
Yesterdays drive with near perfect weather was completed by a group of 4 cars and 8 enthusiastic Wild Rose members! We drove south to the Remington Alberta Carriage Museum. It is a wonderful collection of horse drawn carriages and one motorized carriage that were the forefathers of the automobile. Afterwards we drove west to the entrance to Waterton National Park and then north to Twin Butte where we stopped for lunch. The Twin Butte Country General Store and Mexican Restaurant served us good sized portions on their shaded outdoor patio. We all left feeling a little too full! Thank you to the wonderful participants for making it such an enjoyable day. Kevin and Jane Edited August 20, 2012 by KevinJ Quote 22 Porsche Cayman GT4 21 BMW X5 Link to comment
kjskier1011
It was a lot of fun. The museum is worth it. Thanks again, Lisa and I had a great time. Quote Link to comment
mygt3walt
Hi Kevin J: Even though Carole was not feeling well on the trip the trip was wonderful. We enjoyed the company, the museum, had fun at the Mexican restaurant and the scenery was awesome. I'll post some pictures later. Walter Quote Link to comment
