kjskier1011
I want to jack up, and use jack stands on my 2004 Boxster S to do some work on my lower front-end bumper region. It is just too low to the ground to get under and work on it without lifting it. Does anyone have suggestions or photos of where to use the floor jack on the Boxster (2004 S model)? Is there a center structural point that is accessible? After looking under the front end, it looks like the skid plate is covering almost everything under there. There is a photo on the Pelican Parts website but my Boxster does not look at all like the one in the picture. Mine seems to have everything covered by skid plate. Any help? Perci
I wouldn't try to just use the jack anywhere under the front. I have a pair of ramps made from recycled rubber that I place under the wheels after jacking it up at the usual places that raises it about 8 inches. It's enough room for doing an oil change. I have a baby hoist now, so I don't even need to do that. Quote Perci PCA DE Instructor 2014 Cayman S 2000 Boxster S 2000 Carrera 2010 Panamera 4S 1989 928GT Link to comment
