Perci
Always wanted to have the parts catalogue like the dealer uses for your car, but were concerned about downloading something from the Internet? There is a solution. Porsche will sell you an official CDROM with the parts catalogues for all models, for about $10. The current disk (part 000 043 400 05) is good up the year 2010. I had a previous version good to 2003, so they are updated from time to time. In addition to car parts, it also list Tequipment, seat, and literature books. I found the rebuilt parts list interesting, but, hey, that's just me. Too bad they don't include pricing! The disk will autorun when you insert it and give you access to a table of contents. Easy. If you want you can drill into the disk's files and find the PDFs that they've wrapped in a graphical user interface. The PDFs can run in Acrobat reader as normal. Glenn
Many of the parts suppliers have these catalogs online. For example, Pelican has this on-line. As well, you can go directly to Porsche and open/save the parts PDF files. Try this link: http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesandservices/classic/genuineparts/originalpartscatalogue/ Cheers Glenn Edited February 10, 2014 by Glenn Quote Link to comment
