stealthn
It appears PP took over pcarspecialist.ca and Bimmercarspecialist.ca so perhaps parts will be cheaper than shipping them up from LA Bob James Quote Bob James 06 Cayman S 2018 Macan GTS Link to comment
Keith Adams
Wayne posted some information in this thread. Doesn't appear that we will have a Pelican Parts in Canada, but sounds like Pelican is trying to make it easier. My problem with these U.S. sites that offer "landed costs" through a company like FedEx is that you *ALWAYS* pay duty and GST. With shipping stuff via postal mail, you get lucky sometimes and Canada customs doesn't even look at it. I order all my bike parts from England, and sometimes get lucky. I once ordered a viscous coupling for my VW Vanagon Syncro (about $1200) from Germany and Customs opened it, taped it back up, and didn't even charge me anything. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/751772-pcarspecialist-ca-merged-pelican.html Quote Link to comment

Asking the shipper to label contents as "vintage car parts" seems to allow the package to escape the dreaded GST and duty. Marc Quote Link to comment
