malcolm
Is the current 911 raffle open to all members? From what I read its a US car and the winner has to pick it up from a US dealer..........the entrance fee is real good for the winner Quote '21 Macan GTS PDK Miami Blue/Black, 7k kms '93 928 GTS 5 speed Polar Silver/Linen, 192k kms '88 928 S4 A/T Black/Ivory, 190k kms '09 Cayenne GTS Tiptronic Nordic Gold/Black, +336k kms '88 928 S4 A/T Red/Champagne, 110k miles (US car) Link to comment
Perci
Yes, all members in good standing as of the draw date. Canadians are responsible for importing the car. Or just take the $90K. Watch out for the taxes, theirs and ours. Quote Perci PCA DE Instructor 2014 Cayman S 2000 Boxster S 2000 Carrera 2010 Panamera 4S 1989 928GT Link to comment
kellym
Hey if I win I'll gladly pay the taxes. That 50th Anniversary Edition 911 in cream colour (oops, I mean Geyser Gray) looks really sweet! Quote 05 911 C2S (997.1) in black with PCCB Link to comment
Perci
So would I if I had the money. PCA needs to hold back 25% for taxes, the Border Revenuers will want 11% at the border, and then depending on your tax bracket the CRA will want 37%. That's $73K! Mind you you should get the 25%back, but you might be out the money until your accountant gets it back from the IRS. We all know how long it takes to get our money back from the government. Sadly, I'd probably take the $90K cash alternative, pay my taxes, and see what the owner of the 911 that they showed with the 50th Edition wants for it.
