dragon
I need to install my Function First transmission mount inserts but my jack stands won't lift the car high enough. Anyone have a lift I can use for a bit? I'm willing to provide beer or I have the Durametric Pro that I willing to lend out in exchange. Quote Link to comment
Brodie
Don't have a lift but do have 4 - 6 ton jack stands you can borrow. The car will be more than high enough with those. Quote Link to comment
KMR 968 Turbo
I have a lift. It will be in use tommorow. How long did you need it for? Quote Link to comment
dragon
I figure the job would take about an hour or two. I just took another look at the installation instructions & I also need to place a floor jack on the tranny to temporarily relieve the pressure while undoing the bolts & sliding the inserts in so I'm wondering if it would be better to use jack stands or set the lift low enough to use a floor jack. malcolm
perhaps use the lift and a transmission jack; that should provide max access Quote '21 Macan GTS PDK Miami Blue/Black, 7k kms '93 928 GTS 5 speed Polar Silver/Linen, 192k kms '88 928 S4 A/T Black/Ivory, 190k kms '09 Cayenne GTS Tiptronic Nordic Gold/Black, +336k kms '88 928 S4 A/T Red/Champagne, 110k miles (US car) Link to comment

Robert Hogg
I've got one. Its a small space though and today doesn't work. PM and we can arrange an evening later in the week if that works. 911s and caymans fit, cayennes do not. Quote Link to comment
