Danielle
A message from Erik: Hi Everyone! Mary and I have been busy the last 3 weekends driving and planning the Mystery Tour. We have the route selected and some interesting stops scheduled. If you have never been on the Mystery Tour think of it like an Amazing Race but one where you don't get points for getting anywhere first and nobody gets eliminated. It's also not a race in the traditional sense. Instead you get an envelope that has directions to where your next stop is. Along the way you will have to answer a bunch of questions of things you see from the road. When you get to your destination you may have to complete a challenge to get your next envelope. Once you reach the finish line we score the questionnaires and prizes are given out. Having a navigator is an absolute must as there is too much going on to both drive and answer questions. So bring your spouse, friend or the family and make a fun day of it. Here are the details you need to know for this year: Starting Point: Tim Hortons on 32 Avenue NE, Calgary. (1341-32 Avenue NE) Start Time: We will send off the first teams at 8:00 AM and two teams every 5 minutes afterwards Estimated Total Driving Distance: 280 km Estimated Finish Time: 4:00 PM What You Need to Bring: Pens Camera or Phone that can take pictures $8 cash per person a watch A navigator (there is too much going on to both drive and answer questions) We have scheduled a quick lunch stop estimated between 12:30 and 1:00 at a family friendly restaurant. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for being outside. All outdoor activities are non stressful and won't involve vigorous exercise. We want you to enjoy your day!
