33 cars set out from Shawnessy Mall and headed South to Black Diamond We stopped to regroup in Black Diamond and pick up another 3 cars. From Black Diamond we continued South the Chain Lakes Provincial Park were we made a brief stop to stretch our legs and tend to other needs.

After parking our cars in the ball diamond behind the Musem 65+ people from WRR, VSCCC and Nanton Bomber Command volunteers enjoyed a catered lunch.
We finished lunch with enough time to take in some of the static displays and video before the two starboard Rolls Royce Merlin engines were started and warmed up.
After there was cake and coffee reception for our members as well as the Vintage Sports Car Club Members. It was a very memorable event, that's for sure!
Fact: it costs the museum $1,200.00 to run up the engines for 5 minutes at events like today's.
