I assume that since we have reservations for high tea we get a pass to go up the road to the hotel?

YES! I have called the Fairmont Concierge to confirm this and I also asked for a prime parking spot for the cars to be photographed near the lake. I am awaiting confirmation for this request. Arriving for tea Sat, Aug 10th is prime time summer holiday season, they said they would accommodate this request the best way possible given the season.

Great!  Will be nice to get the cars up there again!  Thanks for panning this one.  It will be a  long but very enjoyable day.

I will need to drop out unfortunately as we will be out of town. I am sure it will be a great event.

Out that way on two wheels a few days ago…..Abraham Lake was super.

I've been checking the road conditions and openness on 511.ca. It appears that this entire route is open with no road closures.  Fire smoke at times could be a factor.

Apologies, change of plans, I have a family member birthday celebration that day and I won't be able to make it. Have fun everyone!
