Wild Rose Region's 2025 Blastoff is fast approaching! Join us for our premiere social event of the year to kick off PCA's 70th Anniversary Year and the start of WRR's 43rd year. As a way to give back to members, your club is subsidizing the cost of the evening.
Miles McEwing and Tracey Martin will give a Keynote Presentation of their incredible rally experience, and their ongoing participating in the Alcan 5000 Rallys in a 2006 Porsche Cayenne.
The Alcan Rally has run for 40 years. This year 35 vehicles, including 7 Porsches, covered over 8000 km of picturesque landscape over 10 days enduring temperatures below 43 degrees Celsius. The journey started in Kirkland, Washington, covered parts of British Columbia, Alberta, Northwest Territories and Alaska, even venturing into the Arctic Circle.
Please join us to hear about the rally, history of the event and tips for anyone interested in participating. Miles and Tracey previously have presented well-received and entertaining talks on a number of subjects, including a five-continent sidecar adventure and the warm weather version of the Alcan Rally. Keeping with the Wild Rose charity spirit we will raise funds for Made by Momma by way of a 50/50 draw. Made by Momma is a grassroots non-profit organization, and registered Canadian charity located in Calgary, helping families facing situations of adversity and crisis by providing healthy prepared meals, wholesome baked goods, baby essentials, children’s items, supportive in-home visits, and many other services. This allows mothers the time they need to rest, recover, and focus on their families and their health. Made by Momma is run by a team of dedicated volunteers, allowing them to keep their operating costs low, maximizing the value of every donated dollar and item.

Get your tickets now to join your fellow members for this exciting evening. Blastoff is primarily a social event and will be a great venue to re-connect with friends and meet other members. In addition, we will recognize the achievements and contributions of our volunteers.
