mbeckergt3 Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Crazy good paint restoration and refinish by Jed Bouscal, Evan, Victor, and the team at Porsche Centre detailing. My 991 Targa 4S looks absolutely brand new. Paint restoration and polishing, window tint, 90% filmed, GTechniq EXO hybrid sealant / protectant, interior recondition and protection. Great work, great customer service. Can't really drive it now .... Quote
mrdunlop944 Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Very nice Mark. You won’t want to drive it now that it’s so perfect. I was there for a few hours yesterday shooting photos of my car with Jed and Evan. What a great group of individuals. Quote
malcolm Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 is the detailing service available for all Porsches? Reasonable rate? Car looks fantastic! Quote
mbeckergt3 Posted June 21, 2018 Author Posted June 21, 2018 It is an incredible job Malcolm, it was there for a week and a half. 2+ days of three stage polishing on the paint. Yes, you book independently with Jed or Evan through the Porsche Centre switchboard -- I took my M6 there, so they'll work on whatever. Definitely it is a high-end shop ... lot's of people know the owner Jed Bouscal, very good reputation, I just got to meet him recently. They are definitely some of the 'big-heads' of paint restoration and detailing, latest products, etc etc -- I sort of 'blue screen' after the first 10 minutes of discussion. My son Jared (aka my detailing attorney) talks to them and approves all products and work. Definitely not cheap, for example the film job which was 90% of the car was about 50% more than I normally pay, but by far the best film job I've had done or seen. Having stated that, there were a few things that took way longer than planned where the price was left 'as quoted', I expect mostly because it was such a big job. They wouldn't let the car leave the shop until it was perfect (basically what we agreed to, whatever the cost). My main reason for going there for this was the paint remediation to bring the finish back to as-new without excessive removal which needs specialists that really know what they are doing. Black paint that had a reasonable amount of surface marks and swirling. It's either that or take it to Loc (sorry man) which I'm certain would be just as good. Quote
malcolm Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 thx Mark...........I was thinking of Loc also Quote
mrdunlop944 Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 (edited) Porsche Centre Calgary’s detail shop is state of the art, from tools to product to customer service “Jed and Evan” hats off to you. My Brother starts working at PCC as a detail tech in a weeks time, if you think my 944 is spot less you should see his vehicles. +1 PCC Cosmos being Porsche certified is also second to none. Loc treats his customers like friends especially if you are a club member. Edited June 23, 2018 by mrdunlop944 Quote

I was just in there for a quote for the Panamera, but was surprised how expensive it was, and the front end wrap too. Needless to say I’ll be shopping around Quote Bob James 06 Cayman S 2018 Macan GTS
stealthn Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) My PTT is in at Lamborghini now for a cut and polish, badly needed since I bought the car with a lot of scratches on it. It is also going to be the demo car for a new ceramic coating they are trying, so I’ll post pictures of the results and my opinions on the whole deal when U get it back. cut and polish (and it was bad) $421.00 Edited May 25, 2019 by stealthn Quote Bob James 06 Cayman S 2018 Macan GTS
