I know that for the 993 series, the Porsche logo covered the Thule logo. if you're looking for an alternative.

From reading online it looks like Thule does make them for the 996/997 but they can only be purchased from Porsche under the Porsche brand. Others have tried finding after-market solutions and have come up short.
