Wanted: 996/997 cross bars to rent/buy or borrow…

Need to head to our place in between Kelowna and Vernon on Westside Road. Yes the road where over 82 homes burnt to the ground or are unrepairable a couple of weeks ago. Our home there is only a couple of kilometres away from that devastation and we have been finally taken off the evacuation order. We are heading out very soon to check on smoke damages and are taking an absolutely crazy amount of replacement items out there assuming we will need to throw a lot of what we have into the dumpster due to smoke damage.

 

We are taking the Terrier carrier (Volvo) with our XL roofbox and would normally take my wife’s car as well but it is still in the bodyshop for hail repairs…thus the need to put our second smaller roof box on the 997 to fit everything. Please let me know if someone out there has a set of crossbars that fit a 996 or 997 coupe that we can borrow/rent/purchase so we can get everything out there.

 

Thanks everyone and we appreciate any assistance we can find. Just don’t want to buy a new set for a one time use.

Not sure if theyll fit but I have the roof transport system for my Cayenne. Details/part numbers are at home which I can dig out this aft.

Thanks for the offer Malcolm. Pretty sure you’re going to be much too wide for the 911 roof. Looks like the part number I need is 996-801-105-00
