Chip and Scuff Repair/touch up

Recommended Posts

Can anyone recommend a good shop for the above? I just purchased a lightly used Macan Turbo. I would like to install some PPF on the car but before I do, there are a couple of imperfections that could use a skilled hand to resolve. Not looking to repaint but someone that can remove/replace poor previous touch up work and and possibly wet sand one scuff before paint correction/PPF/Ceramic.

Does Refine/Calgary Porsche/Autokosmetik offer this type of service?

Hi Ryan,

I'm not sure about those you listed, but Tyler Juchau at Rocky Mountain Auto Salon in Dead Man's Flats does go into this level of touch up and detailing. Not exactly near at hand, but check out some of his work and maybe check to see what he can offer - although I haven't used his services (every car I own is a POS), but I've known of him through the community for a number of years and followed his work.

Autokosmetik specializes in something called sprayless scratch repair which is repeatedly filling a deep scratch with paint and polishing it until it is flush to the surface of the existing paint. The bad scratch repairs probably can be improved with this technique as well. Jed is also the best guy in town to do a mirror finish polish that will be locked in with PPF.
