turbokraut Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I got a flat, I'm stuck in Edmonton on Family Day and I don't have my wheel lock key. It's the generic kind like pictured for a 957 Cayenne (2009). If you know any Cayenne members in Edmonton I could borrow one from, it would sure help me out on this -27°C day. Maybe they are for lots of other Porsche vehicles, too. Quote
turbokraut Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 Bought an 18mm socket and pounded it on which held well enough to get it off. What amazingly bad luck that my lug key was on my garage floor from a recent repair instead of in the vehicle. Quote
al k Posted February 24 Posted February 24 PSA, that's how the bad guys do it when they are out stealing wheels, it kind of makes the wheel locks more of a nuisance than a theft deterrent. Quote

True. "Theft Deterrent" is what it is, by definition. The only reason a pro thief hasn't taken your stuff yet is because he hasn't tried. Quote
