mrdunlop944
Soooo, I decided to take the car out for a family day drive. Made my way over to my uncles house in Springbank where we talked Porsche for a couple hours and let him go for a solo run in the 944. What a blast.... I hope many of you got out to stretch the legs on the Pcar. dragon
Good job Mike! I took the 911 for a quick drive today after installing a new battery. i think a breakfast run should be in order very soon! Quote Link to comment
mrdunlop944
Yoon, I totally agree on a breakfast run. Roads were dry but I did take a rock of the windshield today. No damage but if it had hit my freshly painted front end I would have cried haha. Happy to hear you were burning laps today.... Brodie
We'll be ready for breakfast runs after the alignment is done tomorrow Mike, you may want to consider getting Refine to put some Expel Ultimate on that nice fresh paint. Quote Link to comment

mrdunlop944
Brodie, I swung by Refine today and have my estimate. Didn't know it was so expensive but worth every penny. Just need to pull the trigger and get it done. Thanks for the reply. Look forward to breaky. Keith Adams
Brodie, I swung by Refine today and have my estimate. Didn't know it was so expensive but worth every penny. I have no idea what this film goes for these days. What were you quoted and for how much coverage? I've only ever had the "clear bra" on new cars, but I did see the article in Panorama (or was it Excellence?) regarding the full coverage options now. Not that I own a car anymore with nice enough paint to warrant it...... Quote Link to comment
mrdunlop944
Keith, To do my entire car would be close to 5000$. My estimate came to 1275$ club discount brought it down to 1100$ But that only included the front end of the car. I run into issues for example...no pre cut kits for the 944 so the work becomes a custom job 2-3 days of install time and I no shop time isn't cheap. Refine does amazing work and the best quality materials so you do get what you pay for. They were very helpful and very knowable. I just need to book things in and get It done. Paul
"patina" is the name of the game! Every chip, scratch, ding, dent is a reminder of the good drives had! Mike, you can always apply clear plasti-dip, have not tried it myself but seems to be all the rage. Paul Quote ‘12 Targa 4S - Amythist metallic '81 SC Targa - sold but not forgotten Link to comment

Brodie
Brodie, I think you have the wrong spokesperson..... I used a meme generator and didn't like the two pics they had for the hot sauce granny. Didn't feel like looking for a better pic and using Photoshop. Quote Link to comment
