Alex
Since I was 18 years of age I've always wanted a RED Porsche 911 Turbo! Well, here she is: Many thanks to Paul at Maxpo Communications for his excellent attention to detail! This project took sometime but in the end it was well worth it! http://www.maxpo.ca/ We decided to leave the roof, rear upper wing, rear vents, rear bumperettes, and mirrors black. This contrasts very well with the red and the black wheels. The wrap is a 3M Gloss Red Metallic #G203. I love it! Thanks also to Yoon for referring me to Paul! BCN YAH next Wednesday in Bragg Creek! Cheers! Quote Alex 1980 911SC Targa "turbo" - Light Blue Metallic 2007 997TT Coupe - black/black and black - now wrapped Gloss Red Metallic Link to comment

mrdunlop944
Alex, Looks amazing!i I love the red with black accents. I've also wanted a 911 Turbo ever since I was old enough to know what a 911 Turbo was. At this point in life I would accept any colour 911T haha! Rick
Good morning Alex (et al) Your 911 TT looks "awesome". Your choices on what remained black are very tasteful and give the car a well sorted balance. The combination of the two colors creates a great & unique look for the car. Can't wait to get a closer look during the meeting next week ... assuming you are there. Congrats on the outcome .. very cool. Barnsey Quote Link to comment
Alex
Thanks Rick! Yes, I should? be at the meeting! Maybe I should consult with you on this (or any other member for that reason) , as you seem to be the "add-on goodies" expert in our club...lol! I'm looking for an aftermarket replacement upper rear wing. I don't want to replace the whole rear deck so it has to be a bolt-on piece. Not CF, as I want to retain the black colour as contrast. Any ideas? I could just Google but.....! Quote Alex 1980 911SC Targa "turbo" - Light Blue Metallic 2007 997TT Coupe - black/black and black - now wrapped Gloss Red Metallic Link to comment
Rick
Hi again Alex .. Here are several aftermarket firms that offer custom pieces that might meet your needs & quality expectations. http://www.gettydesign.com http://www.design911.com http://www.fvd.us Suspect Google will render more options, but I have first hand experience with the second & third above. Look forward to seeing you in Bragg Creek this week. Rick Edited April 3, 2016 by Rick Quote Link to comment

Alex
I decided to add a certain RETRO touch.... After some 2 months the only issue that I've had so far is that the wrap lifted a bit under the right side of the rear wing. Paul looked at it and fixed her up this am.....great service to be had at Maxpo guys! And ya, we should start a "I wrapped my Porsche" thread! DavidM
Black Rock provided a teachable moment, motor cross on a runway is not without paint job risk, ergo the attempt at auto bubble wrap. Awesome event but not for garage queens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

DavidM
Well, you see, there was this cone at the Tofino airport which was so impressed by the Wild Rose Porsches that it was willing to sacrifice itself for a free lift to Calgary. Risking all, it jumped in front of a black 997 during a moment of positive (very positive) acceleration in a tight slalom. Fortunately, although the cone, 997, and driver were all slightly bruised (ego in the case of the driver), all will survive. Quote Link to comment
