964Andrew
Hi, I've been working tirelessly on my 964 to make it ready for the weekend, but it looks like it won't be done in time to bring it to the show. In the process of restoration I have designed, developed and manufactured an "outlaw-style" substitution panel to replace my discoloured OEM panel. The project got a lot of interest and I ended up producing a limited run for sale through Rennlist. All panels were sold on pre-orders. Since then I've passed the project to another member and went on to develop version 2 of the panel. Panel prototype is done but since my car is not I can lend it to anyone who is in need of a replacement. The panel is fully functional and replaces your OEM panel, but it is not for sale as it's my only prototype. So, if your OEM centre panel is discoloured, cracked or broken you can have my prototype for the weekend. All I want in exchange is to to take some pictures of the panel on your car at the show. PM me if you are interested. Thanks! Andrew Quote Link to comment

964Andrew
Well, the issue that caused the delay is bit bigger than a scratch or two Thanks! Andrew Quote Link to comment
mrdunlop944
That is a very cool replacement panel you have created. The "outlaw" cars are always my favourite, good on ya! I can understand your frustration as I just completed some body transformation tonight...sigh.... Thanks to Loc At Cosmos Collision and Porsche Centre Calgary I will be in attendance for the show... JT997TT
Very cool. Andrew, do you have any pics of the car with the new panel on from a bit of a distance? Nostrathomas
Huh, I was following this thread on Rennlist...I had no idea it was a local guy who was making these. Even though I personally still prefer the stock 964 lights (although mine are faded to hell), this is awesome to see and I hope you've had good luck with sales! 964Andrew
Hi, ended up selling the latest panel to finance the rebuild. The car is finally on the road, just hit 160km on the rebuild engine. More photos below. Panel photos are from my clients car. Progress on my car. As I mentioned, the car is on the road and driving. Runs well and no leaks to report... yet Thanks! Andrew Quote Link to comment
