You are so correct about the limited tire selection for the 15" wheel. My 944 originally came with 15x7. I went up to the 16x7&16x8 Turbo wheel but still had some troubles finding what I wanted for tires. I'm now running the 17" wheel where I have a wide verity of brands and styles to choose from.

Let me know if you need any help Keith.
    See ya soon!!!
When we were at Luftgekuhlt last week, the curated portion was sponsored by Pirelli and they had the Pirelli people there highlighting their new re-issued classic tires, many N-rated and available though Porsche. You can imagine the cost, but at least there are some V rated 15" options.

I know when they were available in 15", many of the Early 911S and RGruppe guys ran the Potenzas and were very happy with them.

Keith, did they show any CN36's? I had a set of those on my old Scirocco, loved that tread pattern. Would look good on a longnose!

They sure did Marc - such a great vintage pattern. They were extolling that with these "reissued" tires, everything is modern except the tread. They are using the old outer molds for the pattern, but the beading, belting and rubber compounds are all the latest and greatest.

Good news!! Bridgestone Potenza tires are now available for the 16” wheels. Last season I couldn’t find matching front and rear tires for a couple different 944 Turbos but now I have you covered.

too bad they don't make the re71r's in a 325/30r19 or 315/30r19, otherwise I'd give those tires a try.

Wow! that is a wide tire, have you looked into other Bridgestone Potenza’s? I’m sure there’s something that would be comparable to the RE71R’s
