Recommended Posts

Your Spring newsletter is in the mail to you. Our printer is now sourcing a gloss paper for the same price as the old paper which adds tremendously to the quality of the graphics and images in the newsletter.

Feel free to submit an article for the summer issue. We can edit and spell check your submission, add graphics, etc to make you look great! Cut off date for submissions is July 15.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to our newsletter and makes it so good.

Got the newsletter the other day and agree the gloss paper helps the image quality. However, it does reduce the page turning enjoyment. I found the pages less enjoyable to turn and read as they sort of stuck together and had a different feel. Perhaps due to the paper weight? Just mentioning, not a criticism of the quality of the newsletter.

Fair comment. Do you think we should continue with the thin gloss paper or go back to the previous paper?

Good question. The gloss looks more professional and less "club" but the thin paper has a feel that isn't as enticing to read. Is there a third option? Or maybe a combination where heavy picture pages are gloss but heavy text pages are not?
