knorrena
I want to have the engine carrier on my 993 re-inforced. This will require welding - something I am not good at. Is there an outfit or individual in Calgary that folks on the board can trust to do a good job? After welding, I want to have the carrier plated. Any recommendations? Karl Quote Link to comment
ErikA
Hi Karl, I've used Trillion Industries for a couple different car projects - machining a stub axle when I installed a mechanical LSD, and machining 996 brake callipers to use on my M3. Haven't used them for welding but they are set up for that. Was really pleased with the work they did in both cases. They are true gearheads and do all sorts of car and motorcycle related work. Highly recommend! http://trillionindustries.com/contact/ As for electroplating, I am also interested in a recommendation. I would like to get some pieces re-plated with yellow chromate. And if anyone had a recommendation for anodizing in Calgary, that would be appreciated as well. KMR 968 Turbo
My friend got a bunch of his 951 hardware plated in Calgary. I will ask him where. Quote Link to comment

knorrena
Just a shout out to Trillions and wespen. Both did a tremendous job. I also brought some engine tin to calgary powder coating and they did a great job too. Quote Link to comment
