SOLD SOLD SOLD

This Cayenne spent its entire life in Vancouver until I bought it two years ago (two winters)

The cylinders have been bore scoped to ensure there is NO bore scoring (beware of Cayennes with scored cylinders, insanely expensive fix)

  • New tandem pump (summer 2019)
  • New PDCC sway bar (Summer 2019)
  • Factory tow hitch and wiring (Summer 2018)
  • Drive shaft and support bearing replacement (spring 2018)
  • Complete wiring/harness replacement (winter 2020)

This SUV is loaded with factory options.

  • Full Black Leather
  • Complete Power Options
  • Upgraded BOSE Sound System
  • Alcantara Headliner
  • sunroof
  • Keyless Entry
  • Navigation
  • Front & Rear Park Sensors
  • Heated Front Seats

Sad thing is with the money I spent fixing the engine in ours I could have bought this one and had $10k to spare. *sigh* Good luck with the sale. Looks like a good vehicle.

My guess is they had a bunch of random codes being thrown up that lead to replacement of the wiring harness. I am going through the same thing on my rebuild. We just replaced the fuse box hoping that would fix it. I know prior to the engine destroying itself the Webasto heater was not working and was told by the dealer that the two computers were not talking to each other. It appears wiring could be a problem and that is why I think they replaced the harness. That was my experience with the same year, make, model, options, color, features. LOL But best if the owner gives their feedback.

Basically, what other Erik said. No fire. Wouldn't start one day and was showing codes, so he towed the car to Tunedub where George diagnosed the issue as a bad harness.

thanks, I wasnt aware that the harness could be problematic other than when...........wait a minute, I did experience the 'wet drivers floor mat' issue which in turn affects the wiring along the sill causing all sorts of Xmas dash display. Replaced the 10 YO batt and soldered a couple of wires, good for another 300k! :)

BOT, I do have a friend interested, Ive passed on this thread, GLWTS
