vr6tee Posted April 28, 2016 Author Share Posted April 28, 2016 Wrist pins were really easy. I bought the stomski wrist pin installer..... Cylinder 2 and 5 were very difficult to get in though. I'm sure there's a special tool to take it from extremely hard to really easy but I didn't have it Quote Link to comment

vr6tee Posted May 8, 2016 Author Share Posted May 8, 2016 I think the brand is extreme motors. I got it on eBay. $1300ish? It looks perfect in person. Really nice wing, came with the wrench to install it. I had a hiccup today. I went to pick the car up with the new headers and exhaust. We started the car and it sounded amazing. I ran it for 30 seconds or so inside and them pulled it outside. About 15 seconds later it started billowing smoke. A lot of smoke. A little searching later and it appears one of my new turbos is a dud. Not sure what I'll get for warranty, I think I'm just out the money. Ordered a new one today, I hope it arrives Tuesday, looks like another week of no cars & coffee for me Quote Link to comment
